Summary

This is a project meant to allow people expose their imcompleted songs, like a guitar's riff, recording it, and then allowing others users/players, to listen it and, possible, adding another recording tracks to build up and finalizing the song, using any other instruments to do this. Or, in another words, a web application which allows people to build songs collaboratively.

Description

Through decades the internet revolution has been contributing to change the way that society consumes and communicates. The collaborative creation tendency is already here and it has been described as a distributed production model meant to resolve problems, to create content and even provides financial resources to build projects. For that, it utilizes the collective knowledge and collaboration disseminated through the digital medium of the internet. This has been showing an effective alternative to help individuals and organizations concluded their tasks and minimizing costs. In that context, the goal is applying the crowdsourcing concept on building a tool which provides ways to create music in collaborative environment -- The Musiccommunity. The Musiccommunity is a web system application which provides ways for users exposes their unfinished composed songs and receiving help by others to complete them. This help could be an new record track coming along with the previously one to form a new song. As a instance, a new arrangement on acoustic guitar could be recorded and exposed on this system allowing someone else listen to this, to share, making comments or rating it and , the more important, recording other instruments and adding to this. Besides that, it's necessary to develop functions related with social network such as: sending messages, approve or not approve content, news feeds etc.. Fulfilling the minimum characteristics to reserved for a "collaborative making content tool". Last but not least, the interface has to be improved to it's maximum for the purpose of making this easy to use even for those ones who has not much ability using ordinary desktop recording program.

Development project proposal

Developing the API of musiccommunity project, making it able to persist the users data, songs and configurations through a coherent restful application. This development will follow the S.O.L.I.D principles and the architecture choose is Hexagonal Architecture.
